Felix worries that Ralph has "gone Turbo"-a term coined by the inhabitants of the arcade when racing game character Turbo, jealous of being overshadowed, attempted to take over a newer racing game RoadBlasters, which resulted in both of their games being unplugged. Meanwhile, with Ralph missing, his game is labeled as malfunctioning. He and a Cy-Bug are ejected from the game via an escape pod, crash landing in the game Sugar Rush, a candy-themed kart racing game. He disrupts the game during a fight with Cy-Bugs to obtain the medal. Ralph overhears that he can win a medal from a first-person shooter, Hero's Duty. After the game's inhabitants exclude Ralph from their thirtieth anniversary party, he sets out to earn a medal for himself to gain his neighbors' respect. Wreck-It Ralph, the villain of the game Fix-It Felix Jr., is ostracized by its other characters, while the titular hero Felix is celebrated. When Litwak's Arcade closes at night, the various video game characters leave their normal in-game roles and socialize in a power strip.
